OVERVIEW

We often talk about this workshop like the first day of kindergarten– where we gather in a circle and discuss the rules of the playground so we all can have more fun and know what’s expected of us. This workshop will take that idea and apply it to the way we work together as a team– exploring and defining team agreements around productivity, communication, meeting, and scheduling.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  1. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
  2. As a group, everyone will come in having filled out a survey of their productivity loves and hates.
  3. RULE SETTING
  4. Dive into the categories of Meeting, Timing, Productivity, and Communication and brainstorm a list of rules, expectations, and values.
  5. DECIDE WHAT TO KEEP
  6. Communally evaluate the rules your team has proposed and then choose what will stick.
  7. THE PRACTICAL
  8. Discuss how this can actually be implemented in your office and among your team.

REQUIREMENTS

Required from you: a projector or monitor.
