Intro

In this incredible experience, Djuna will bring you the physical and mental benefits of yoga and meditation, all with a lighthearted atmosphere. In her easy and approachable teaching style, she will take you through movement sequences and gentle stretching designed to increase stamina, flexibility, and balance, as well as teach scientifically-proven breathing techniques that calm the central nervous system. Prepare to sweat, laugh, connect more deeply with yourself, and you will leave this workshop less anxious, less stressed, and with a calm energy that will empower you to tackle anything you set your mind to.

About Djuna

Djuna's goal is to make yoga accessible to everyone. A lifelong love of moving has led her to a successful career as a dancer, choreographer, dance/movement psychotherapist, and yoga instructor. She received her B.A. in dance from Bard College and M.S. in dance/movement therapy from Pratt Institute. She has trained and performed with numerous dance companies in California and New York, and her choreography has been featured in states across the country.

For this class, participants will need to supply their own yoga mats, and it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing.

    She is confident and has the steadiest flow sequence of any teacher I've had. Her class is challenging but not jerky, which I think is hard to accomplish. She has a wonderful grounding personality that doesn't overtake the class but is reassuringly there, so that one can really focus on breath and the more internal aspects of yoga.
