Successful companies need productive office employees, but the statistics linking a sitting-based lifestyle with disease and early death are staggering. This experience is designed to inform office employees about the importance of movement throughout the day and to learn new ways to incorporate movement into their daily lives! This is a gentle but thorough class, perfect for beginners and yogis alike.

About Alia Bisat

Alia is a 200 Hour RYT in Brooklyn, NY teaching vinyasa, beginner's yoga, restorative yoga, and meditation in studios private homes, and corporate settings. Her passion is to educate students on how to move their bodies in a mindful way, and why moving the body is essential to living a healthy life.

Important information

Each attendee will need a wingspan’s worth of space, and is asked to bring their own yoga mats/towels.

What to Expect
    A 15-minute talk about why movement is essential to our health, how it differs from exercise, and how this applies to employees working in an office/computer/desk setting.
    A 35-minute yoga practice which includes breath work and meditation.  The session will end with takeaway tips on how to incorporate movement throughout the work day on a regular basis.
    Each person who attends will receive his/her own massage ball to keep!
